Glashutte Spezimatic 25 Jewels Automatic GUB 75 GDR
£229.99
This Glashutte Spezimatic automatic watch is powered by the popular GUB Cal 75 movement, hailing from the German Democratic Republic and is most likely from the 1970s.
It features a stylish case design that compiments the dial well. The reverse is stamped with a hammer and pick crossing and the initials PW and 25, I believe this was a 25 year service award watch for working down a mine.
The front of the watch shows minimal wear with chrome plating present on the case, there is some wear to the reverse side edges and the crown, this is common with these watches and can be seen in almost all examples similar to this one.
Crystal has light marks and scratches, the piece is totally untouched from a restoration point of view.
A fine example of a GDR Glashutte watch in very good condition.
