Verge Repeater Pocket Watch Movement, 19th C. French
£229.99
A 19th Century French repeater pocket watch movement from France.
It is not working and has a broken/wobbly balance.
The repeating mechanism has been tested three times and seems to chime both hours and quarters. The issue is it does not marry up to what the time is showing.
Chain is present and movement is almost fully wound. Totally uncleaned and unrestored. The repeating mechanism is activated at the 12 O Clock position by pressing down, would have been push activated whilst cased.
For parts or restoration.
Large size, measures 50.7mm at the widest point.
