J. Gent London Interesting Pocket Watch Movement

A rare and unusual piece I believe, have not seen another like this. I would love to find out more information on who the frame maker is but we have handled 10,000+ movements and this is the only one like this we have come across.

Movement is stamped ULC and 252 under the dial, serial of the movement is 1252 on the movement plate and dial.

More handwriting visible under the dial than I have ever seen on another movement.

The piece is not working, it has a broken balance staff and is also missing its minute wheel I think but some adaptation has been made under the dial. Dial is also loose and not being held on by any pins.

Piece is totally unrestored, measures 43mm in diameter and the dial is 45.7mm.
